Country music, sometimes referred to as Western Music has its roots in folk music, celtic music, gospel and more music styles. It formed in the early 1920 in the Southern United States and has since taken the world by storm. In its beginning Country was called hillybilly music but this was soon changed to Country. Elvis Presley evolved Rock and Roll from country music and country musician Garth Brooks is the top-selling solo artist in history.
